This month we invited you to the ZenPop Ramen Tour all across Japan, from Hokkaido to Kyushu. Did you enjoy it?🐰 Let’s go back to the memories of the exciting journey!

  1. Miyagi Sendai Oxtail Soup Noodles
Oxtail soup, a local delicacy of Miyagi, now comes together with ramen noodles! The simple salty taste of the soup enhances the umami of beef. Did you enjoy “shime” after finishing the noodles? Just put some rice (or additional noodles) in the remaining soup. It’s a Japanese way of enjoying noodle dishes as much as possible.
  2. Onomichi Seabura Shoyu Ramen
Onomichi is a stunning secret travel destination located along the Seto Inland Sea in Hiroshima, where you can enjoy the view of the sea, the temple walk, and, spoiler alert, Onomichi Ramen! If you want to know more about the touring spot, read this blog post.
  3. Mie Ise-ebi Soup Noodles
Ise-ebi Soup is a type of miso soup which contains ise-ebi, Japanese spiny lobster. You can now enjoy the ramen version of this local dish from Mie prefecture. The rich flavor of ise-ebi provides the backdrop for the deep flavor of miso.
  4. Yokohama Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen
Like most regions in Japan, Yokohama also has its original local ramen. Yokohama Ramen features the tonkotsu-and-chicken-based shoyu soup and thick noodles in it. Topped with chicken, menma, green onion, and spinach.
  5. Sapporo Miso Ramen
Sapporo miso ramen is one of the most popular and famous kinds of regional ramen. The pork-based soup is flavored with specially blended miso and other spices. Topped with corn, green onion, and ground meat.
  6. Tokyo Asakusa Sauce Yakisoba
If you want to enjoy festive food stalls of yakisoba, you can go to Asakusa. But this month Asakusa came to your home. The fresh sizzling flavor of Worcestershire sauce whets your appetite and gets your taste buds excited. The furikake seasoning contains nori seaweed and tempura pearls.
  7. Saitama Zenya Scallop Salt Ramen
Zenya is a popular ramen shop in Saitama Prefecture and is specialized in salt ramen. The soup is extraordinarily delicious with umami of chicken, vegetable, and seafood. Did you enjoy the privilege of eating the super-popular ramen with only 3 minutes of waiting time?
  8. Hakata Mentai Tonkotsu Ramen
Hakata is famous for its mentai (cod roe) and tonkotsu ramen. The rich, creamy tonkotsu soup is spiced up with the piquant mentai and the toasty sesame.
  9. Scrambled Egg Udon
Thick and soft udon noodles topped with soft scrambled egg and deep-fried tofu. The simple dashi soup has a flavor of fish. The mild sweetness is a great choice to complete the Ramen Touring all around Japan.
