Summer has gone and fall has come. Fall in Japan is the season for eating, reading, playing sports, art, picnic…the comfortableness of this period is ideal to do various activities. Let’s celebrate the coming of the fun and beautiful season with festive sweets and snacks!

  1. Corn Cones
    Cone-shaped corn snacks. Put the corns on your fingers, dip them into ketchup, and trick your friends with the (edible) witch fingers.
  2. Country Ma’am Chocolates
    The deliciousness of Country Ma’am cookie is reproduced in the bite-sized chocolates. Inside the layer of bitter chocolate, crushed Country Ma’am Cookies and chocolate chips are included. Just with one bite, rich flavor of chocolate and vanilla will fill your mouth.

    Japan has a bunch of cookie flavors from chocolate to watermelon, but sometimes (or always) you want to have plain cookies too, right? This one has a simple but rich flavor of butter, it’s crunchy and moreish, which will never make you bored.

    Between the crispy waffle-like biscuits, the chestnut flavored chocolate cream is sandwiched. Not only the cream but also the biscuit dough includes chestnuts, which brings fall into your mouth.

    Fried senbei from Bonchi, a senbei maker. It’s really crunchy & munchy. Flavored with savory shoyu, but it’s slightly sweet too.
  13. Strawberry Roll Cake
    Never underestimate the deliciousness of dagashi! Dagashi is cheap and basically aimed at children, but this one tastes like a real dessert. It can be a nice breakfast or fill your peckish belly at school/office.
  14. Osatsu Snack
