In cold winter, spicy foods are popular in Japan to warm your body. So this month, we featured hot noodles to survive the coldest month of the year!

  1. Beef Sukiyaki Udon
    Sukiyaki was a special, luxury food in Japan back in Meiji era. Tasty beef with salty-sweet soup is the best treat! Often eaten with raw egg.
  2. Mochi Curry Udon
    Mochi (rice cake) udon is known as a powerful food, and now it comes in curry taste! The blend of pork stock and vegetable stock goes well with the mild creamy curry.
  3. Tan Tan Noodle
    Sesame flavored tan tan spicy noodle. Crumbly ground meat and green onion make the noodle more flavorful.
  4. Kimchi Ramen
    Original kimchi ramen is here! Spicy kimchi flavor can be adjusted with the additional sauce. You will like the garlic and fish soy sauce flavor!
  5. Spicy Miso Wantan Noodles
    A little spicy miso (blend of red-miso and white-miso) soup noodle with smooth wantan. Freezing cold outside? Now grab the bowl and sit warm eating wantan noodles.
  6. Mustard Greens Tonkotsu Ramen
    Takana (mustard greens) is one of famous Japanese pickles. The flavor of mustard takana and tonkotsu soup make a classic combination.
  7. Yonezawa Shoyu Ramen
    Yonezawa is in Yamagata, Tohoku which is very cold city in winter. Yonezawa ramen is famous for its simple soup of of Chicken.
  8. Spicy Negi Shoyu Ramen
    Negi (green onions) is the vegetable that goes better with ramen than any other vegetables! Enjoy the little spicy soy sauce with sesame oil.
  9. Salt Yakisoba
    Garlic and black pepper spice up the salt yakisoba. It tastes more simple than usual sauce yakisoba, but good as well especially with stir fried cabbage.
