Japan's Most Beautiful Washi Tape
Traditional Japanese paper or washi is written with the Japanese characters wa (和) which means harmony, but is also used to represent things that come from Japan, and shi (紙) which means paper.
Washi is best known for the beautiful designs printed or painted on it and its light weight and textured feel. So, what happens when you make washi sticky? Masking tape, as it’s known as in Japan, or washi tape as you probably know it!
1. KITTA Pre-Cut Washi Tape | King Jim (Made in Japan)
Pre-cut washi tape strips (1.5 cm by 5cm) with 4 rustic designs of 10 pieces each (40 total). The cute slim packet folds in half to the size of a business card, allowing it to fit perfectly into a cover pocket. Use it for pasting photos and cards for a clean and polished look.
2. Slim Washi Tape (3 Pack) | mt (Made in Japan)

Fun fact: This Japanese company invented the beautiful washi tape we know and love today! Originally an industrial masking tape manufacturer (since 1923), mt only started making artistic and aesthetic masking tape in 2006. They were convinced to do so after a group of women created a book of mt’s industrial tape designed with beautiful patterns and colors!
3. Mt Fuji Perforated Washi Tape | Pine Book (Made in Japan)
A beautiful washi tape with a nice clean edge every time thanks to perforations every 10mm. The tape is very easy to remove - no yucky residue - and you can write directly onto it. Use it to decorate your projects with the iconic image of Mt Fuji or Fuji-san.
4. Suisai Watercolor Washi Tape | WorldCraft
