Last ZenPop Beauty Pack - Released in September 2018

Let’s discover the mysterious elegance of Japan with the last ZenPop Beauty Pack!

We all know that beauty and fashion trends change over time. For example, it used to be popular to blacken your teeth in Japan. Yet some trends and specific patterns remain through time, become emblematic of a culture and make one feel nostalgic, just as Japanese flowers patterns. This pack contains up to date items that reflect Japanese traditions and colors.

When talking about traditional Japanese Beauty, who wouldn’t think of a Geisha, or a Maiko (apprentice geisha)? Maikos are trained to the most refined art such as dance and tea serving, and they also care a lot about their aesthetics. And we are giving away a Maiko’s secret to keeping a healthy and pure skin. This Maiko Facial Cleansing Brush has ultra-thin bristles to clean your face more deeply and effectively than if you used your bare hands.

After cleaning your face, moisturize it with a Pure Smile Art Facemask that will complete your transformation into a beautiful lady from the Edo period.

Then we had a Nihonsake Handcream, that could only be created in Japan because it is made after sake (fermented rice liquor). The rice, yuzu, peony and angelica roots, keep your hands moisturized with natural skin-beautifying effect of sake. Plus, the cream doesn’t feel sticky. And guess what? It also has the nice smell of sake!

The Naive Facial Cleansing Foam in the middle of this picture is a 100% plant-derived cleansing foam from Krazie, to use with your Maiko facial cleansing brush. First, apply the cleansing foam on your face or directly on the brush.

How to use: Gently massage your skin in circles with the brush that you washed with lukewarm water before. Be sure to move lightly and not press too hard, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Maikos do wear kimono, on which you find flower patterns most of the time. Here we got you 10 Japanese Pattern Bandages of 5 different flower patterns by designer Yoshio Yuzo from Kyoto. No need to use the boring brown bandages anymore! Next time you hurt yourself, looking at the cute design will make you feel much better!

Finally, do you know how traditional Japanese shoes look like? They are made out of wood with an opening between the big toe and second toe. One of the appellations is geta. For these shoes, we wear a specific type of socks called tabi socks. You will get a pair of Tabi Socks with Japanese pattern that looks just like a geta! As winter is coming, these socks will keep your feet warm.

Subscribers got a Maneki Neko citrus bath salt from Charley as a bonus as well!
