It’s got a nice creamy richness to it and is topped with cabbage and shrimp dumplings. Part of the Sapporo Ichiban series, this cup comes with a lovely orange and cute Pikachu ready to devour this bowl of ramen, and a collectible sticker. Pokémon Noodles Onion Consommé Flavor from Sanyo Shokuhin

Allergens: wheat, egg, dairy, soy, chicken, pork Cooking time: 3 minutes The second cup that we got you in this Pokémon series has an Onion Consommé (オニオンコンソメ) flavor. Although the noodles are the same as in the previous cup, the overall experience is very different. Instead of Pikachu, you will find Eevee as the main Pokémon on the packaging. This cup combines the umami of chicken together with the sweetness of onions. It’s lighter and less creamy, but just as rich in flavors. On the topping side, you’ll find cabbage, minced meat, onion, and carrot. Don’t forget to keep the sticker to grow your collection!

Pokémon Noodles Sapporo Ichiban Soy Sauce Flavor from Sanyo Shokuhin

Allergens: shrimp, wheat, dairy, squid, soy, chicken, pork Processed in a facility that also processes egg Cooking time: 3 minutes Here’s the 3rd and last Pokémon ramen we got you this month: a soy sauce-flavored cup (しょうゆ味) that children can eat like a snack, with a cute kamaboko and a bonus sticker to collect. The chicken and pork flavors are combined with the umami of seafood (scallops and shrimp) to create a mild soy sauce flavored soup for children. Toppings are simple and tasty, with a combination of Pikachu fish cake (kamaboko, カマボコ) and corn.

Wakame Ramen with Mie Ise Shrimp and Soy Sauce Dashi from Acecook

Allergens: shrimp, wheat, sesame, soy Cooking time: 3 minutes This is a new product from the long-selling series "Wakame Ramen" (わかめラーメン), which celebrates its 39th anniversary in 2022, perfect to enjoy the taste of Mie Ise lobster dashi (三重伊勢海老だししお)! The moderately seasoned noodles are smooth, firm, and crisp. The salt soup is flavored with the delicious taste of seafood. The addition of the optional seasoning oil gives the soup a savory shrimp flavor. The soup is finished with wakame seaweed, which has a rich seashore flavor, bran, sesame seeds, and chili peppers, which absorb the soup and make it juicy.

Yokohama Iekei Tonkotsu Ramen from Yamadai

Allergens: wheat, soy, chicken, pork Cooking time: 3 minutes Born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa prefecture, Iekei Ramen (家系ラーメン) is a traditional Japanese dish consisting of soup based on tonkotsu shoyu mixed with thick Chinese noodles. The soup contains pork bone fat (tonkotsu, 豚骨), and sharp soy sauce, which has the umami of pork with the lightness of the soy sauce. We recommend adding the liquid soup last for the best flavor experience. The noodles are slightly thick and have a chewy texture, perfect to go with the soup, and let you enjoy the sharpness of the soy sauce while slurping. The unique tonkotsu-based taste of the Iekei (家系) is what really stands out in this cup, and to make it perfect, we recommend you to add a few vegetables as extra toppings.

Nostalgic Burnt Soy Sauce Ramen from Yamadai

Allergens: egg, wheat, shrimp, sesame, soy, chicken, pork Cooking time: 3 minutes Here we selected a nostalgic ramen cup based on a recipe from the Showa era. The Shōwa era (昭和, Shōwa) was the period of Japanese history corresponding to the reign of Emperor Shōwa (Hirohito) from December 25, 1926, until his death on January 7, 1989. The savory flavor of burnt (Kogashi, 焦がし) soy sauce is a distinctive feature of this ramen. The soup has the aromas of chicken stock and savory vegetables. The Japanese 70s to 80s are a period of industrial revolution, but also culinary, and recipes were reinvented during that time The cup is filled with a series of classic and colorful toppings, which makes it a lovely and well-balanced cup. Enjoy this little time capsule to start a new year with some unique experience.
