It’s only a couple of days until Christmas, and this is going to be our last Mix box of the year. To finish it with a bang, we’ve gotten our hands on a few awesome collaborations! 2 of the best Ramen shops in Japan worked together on one of the best discoveries of the year, and we got some yummy Splatoon treats!
TOY BOX x Shibata Kamo Tori Niboshi no Syoyu Soba from Toyo suisan
Allergens: wheat, egg, dairy, soy, chicken, pork, apple, gelatin Cooking time: 5 minutes Here we have a very special cup of ramen that was made as a collaboration between 2 popular ramen restaurants in Tokyo, TOY BOX and Shibata (トイ・ボックス×しば田) for a unique competition. Both of those shops have previously ranked 1st in the Shoyu Ramen competition. So, what happens when 2 winners mix together? Well, you get one of the best instant ramen ever produced. Of course, it’s limited edition, and it comes with plenty of original flavors. The umami of the chicken blends perfectly with the umami of duck stock and dried sardines, a quite rare ingredient in ramen recipes. The soy sauce soup is delicate with complex flavors, and is a real pleasure to drink. The noodles have a nice consistency and are thicker than your typical ramen noodles. They are made with a unique preparation method that makes them taste just like noodles from the shop. They are a pleasure to eat from the first sip to the last, and a very hearty meal for those cold winter nights. PS: It is recommended to add the soup and flavoring 5 mins after adding the water for the best experience.
MARUCHAN QTTA Koku Miso Aji Niku 200% from Toyo Suisan
Allergens: shrimp, wheat, egg, dairy, squid, sesame, soy, chicken, pork, gelatin Cooking time: 3 minutes Maruchan QTTA is one of Japan’s most recognizable ramen series. And if you’ve been with us for a while, you’ve seen them before. They have a lot of tasty cups, and for the last month of the year, we got you a one with rich miso flavored meat (コク味噌味肉２００％). The concept behind this cup is simple: Maruchan announced that they want to spread positivity, and make people feel good with a cup full of energy. Well, we can say that it’s a success. The 200% in the name refers to the double volume of meat inside compared to regular QTTA! This cup has plenty of flavors, delicious toppings, and is a real pleasure to eat!
Melty Kiss Caramel Butter from Meiji
Allergens: dairy, soy Do you hear the bells jingling already? Christmas is very near, and we wanted to deliver you some more Premium Japanese Christmas treats. This Melty Kiss (メルティーキッス) is a limited Christmas edition, and has a lovely texture and richness to it. The chocolate, with all its caramel and butter, will just melt in your mouth just like snow (雪のようなくちどけ) and lift you up! The box is perfect to share with loved ones too!
Jagaimo Chips Kaoru Butter Aji from Calbee
Allergens: dairy, wheat, soy Processed in a facility that also processes egg, shrimp, and crab Calbee has found the way to surprise us with this new chip flavor. Garlic and parsley are added to Hokkaido-produced butter to create a delicious buttery flavor (薫るバター味). Calbee made this special premium series of Craft Calbee chips, working with local producers and better ingredients. Naturally, they use potatoes that are limited to a handful of select producers from Higashimokoto. That gives a good base for the flavors to stand out, and a very crunchy experience! If you look carefully, you’ll also notice that the packaging design is made of portraits of the farmers!
Splatoon 3 Gummy Lemon & Grape from Nobel
Allergens: gelatin Processed in a facility that also processes dairy Have you ever played Splatoon on the Nintendo Switch? It’s the most played game on the console, and this new edition has gotten many more fans on board. This pack contains a 2-gummy combination with the colors from the game and sweet lemon and grape (レモン＆グレープ) flavors! The gummies come in 2 shapes: squid and octopus, like the 2 factions facing each other in the game.
Gateau Premium Chocola from Yaokin

We just couldn’t resist getting you those delicious cookies. To make those cookies even better, well, they’ve filled them up with plenty of chocolate chips!

Hotto Calpis from Calpis
Allergens: dairy, soy And to make this box complete, a delicious drink. It’s none other than the famous Calpis, with a version best enjoyed hot (ほっとカルピス)!
